and contribute
something back
to the city
Now there are plans to revitalise the place that holds so many fond memories for Wellingtonians. The familiar landmark frontage will remain, and from it will grow Appartamento Il Casino.
Comprehensive and extensive consultation with Wellington City Council throughout the design stages, drove the innovative design around the retention of the existing facade on Tory Street to reflect the stepping of the old stone wall. The iconic mural on the northern side of the building will be recreated and continue as a feature in this next phase of life for this historic location.
